I’ve transformed the spreadsheet used for the examples into simple HTML tables with standard spreadsheet syntax. Here are some notes to help you interpret these tables:
Two views of the same spreadsheet are shown in each table, separated by the “->” column: the first view displays the formulae rather than the results for all cells which contain formulae. The second view shows the results of formula evaluation.
Relative cell references are denoted by “R[]C[]” syntax, where the number inside the square brackets is the relative offset from the cell containing the formula. For example “R[2]C[-1]” means the cell two rows down and column left from the current cell.
